Life Story for
James Frank Fagan
James Frank Fagan, son of George and Hallie Fagan, was born in Houston, Texas on October 3, 1939, and departed this life on August 14, 2014 at the age of 74. James (Jim) completed his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineer at the University of Houston in 1966 and worked in the field of oil and gas. Although he lived the greater part of his life in Houston, Texas, he also lived in Colorado, North Dakota, Louisiana and New Mexico and had been involved in international projects in China, Algeria, and England.
On May 12, 1967, he was united in marriage to Nikki Nisbet and they have 4 children: Bonnie Fagan Jones, Brenten James Fagan, Bryan Joseph Fagan and Skyler James Fagan. They also have 3 grandchildren: Tyler Paul Jones, Garrett Michael Jones and Audrey Nicole Jones.
Jim was an active member of Second Baptist Church at the time of his parting. He served as a deacon and Shepherd Group leader. He had been actively involved in his church all of his life, serving in choirs, music director, mission’s committee chairman, and Bible Study Leader.
Jim will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and a man who lived his faith. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be held on August 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Vision 21 project at Second Baptist which was close to his heart.
