Condolence From: Melanie Myers
Condolence: I was deeply saddened last week when I heard the news of Bob's passing. I unfortunately was unaware and out of the loop about his services -although I searched all weekend...and it was very devastating to me that I had to miss them. I have known Bob since 1996. He and our good friend Robert O were good pals up to his sudden passing 5 years ago. They used to talk shop, talk nonsense and chat about his time at AT&T. Bob was very intelligent, sometimes serious yet sometimes humorous. It just depended what day it was or mood he was in. We had many heart to heart talks over the years as he was like a father figure to me. He often opened our conversations "Let me tell you something, Kiddo." I rarely challenged him in our chit chats because I quickly learned I couldn't win. My family all went to St. Pius with my dad graduating in 1961 so we had that in common as well. Myself and many others will miss him, no one can fill his shoes so it will be a huge void in our lives. So long my friend. God speed. Mel

Condolence From: Russell Leonard
Condolence: I was so sorry to hear that my friend Bob had past away.I have just learned. He was a good friend, we met approximately 12 years ago at a mutual friends house. Bob and I spent many days cooking ribs, chicken and links on the pit either at his house or mine. I admired his ability to remember so much and his knowledge of fire arms was unsurpassed. He taught me how to make gumbo. I will miss him, and all those Sunday mornings spent together sitting on the front porch at my house.
