Condolence: Glenn was a very special man. Soft spoken, kind and generous, he was always quick to smile and tell a joke or to help a friend. I know he left a lasting impression on me. He will be missed by his many friends and family. Rest in peace, my friend.

Condolence: To me, Glenn was one of those "famous folk" that you read about but never think you'll ever meet. In talking to him and writing to him, I found him to be so "normal" and "down to earth" that it surprised the hell out of me. Glenn, I wished you would have stayed on this earth longer, because there were a lot more things I wanted to say to you. God bless you and your family.

Condolence: I never had the chance to meet Mr. Glenn Lord, but his name was in many of the books I owned (REH). Books that influenced my childhood and life. For that, I thank him for all his hard work and wish I could have met him. I'm an example of those he never knew he touched and I am sure there are countless others like myself who feel the same.

Condolence: Lou Ann, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Thank you so much for arranging the lunch in Galveston. Your kind gesture meant a lot to me then. Today, it is a special memory that I'm fortunate to have. I can still see his smiling face at his eightieth birthday celebration on Saturday when he was surrounded by family and friends. That's how I want to remember him. With caring thoughts, Barbara

Condolence: Glenn Lord was the name that became synonymously associated with the literary integrity of the works of the late author Robert E. Howard. As such I came to rely on Glenn Lord for representing the best presentations of the late author's works when they saw print. It would have been nice to meet him and get to know him as a man and not just as a literary representative. I'm honored to have met others who knew him and had nothing but great respect for the man and his professionalism. I'm saddened by his passing and grateful for his work. Glenn Lord's name will not be forgotten in my lifetime. Hopefully his efforts will live a long time after we've passed.
